“Everyone deserves a small piece of their childhood that makes them smile.”
I have always had a passion for art, and I want to share it with others.
Where It All Began-
For me, I have always believed that everyone should be able to have a small piece of their childhood that makes them smile. Whenever I see something nostalgic, be it a character or a symbol, I always get excited. Even more so when it is something that I don't always see items for in that fandom.
My Inspirations-
What inspires my paintings comes from all over the board. My passion came from video games, cartoons, anime, Disney, Marvel, DC, Studio Ghibli, and movies, just to name some. So if you enjoy any of those, you may see some characters you know when you look at my art.
Art as an Escape-
Art has always been my escape from reality, and I often got in trouble drawing on my school papers. It took me years to gain confidence in my art, but my art teacher really helped me be confident and get me to step out of my comfort zone. Honestly, nobody really knew that I loved making art before that.
In 2016, my mom was diagnosed with cancer, and it hit me hard. So once again, art became an escape from the world. During that time, I focused on improving my skills as therapy and, it gave me joy during a hard time.
Creating Geeking4Art-
Then in 2020, I decided to take a leap and start Geeking4Art. Many people always tried to convince me to sell my art but, it never crossed my mind since it was a hobby. Now I truly enjoy being able to make art for people's homes.
In addition to creating artwork and commissions, I also enjoy participating in community events, markets, conventions, and fundraising opportunities where I can connect with fellow fans and art lovers.
Why I Continue Creating-
I love hearing how my art is decorating homes and being given as gifts to family members because they found a character that the person loves. It always makes my day when I read that people are excited about my paintings as I am about painting them.
